Dougrey Von Neuens was born in Hawaii.  Lived in a small town where he dreamed of coming to the mainland and pursuing his dreams and goals.  He attended School at Washington State University.  He left the great Northwest and came to beautiful Southern California to continue his education at USC.

After working in the entertainment industry in an agency and production company, he obtained work with one of the world's biggest  hotel companies in which he was charged with managing converging personnel in order to maintain market presence and brand cohesiveness.  After a couple years of that, Dougrey was invited by his friends Adam and Mike to join their venture of cultivating and developing a young design firm as well as retail showroom named Interior Illusions.  Dougrey was intrigued and wanting an escape from the corporate world, decided to take a chance.  He has not looked back.

"Interior Illusions has provided me with not just a living, but a family as well," Dougrey says.  It's been a place for him to feel truly alive, exhilarated, and even a little anxious, all at the same time.  Marketing and branding Interior Illusions and growing it in these last years hasn't been easy.  An unstable economy, and even tougher economic bust have all stood in the way of this young budding company. "We have made strides, and have been still growing each and every year, it's a little tough, and we have to scream and yell for people to hear us but when you get heard, and the people love you, it makes it all worth while."
