Michael Valles was born in Fresno, California and graduated in 1998 from Cal State Fresno University with a dual Major in Mass Communications and Business. After school, Michael worked as a performance consultant in the financial industry and corporate sales with a large pharmaceutical company while massaging the dream of pursing design and opening his own retail/design firm in beautiful Los Angeles. During his life in Fresno, Michael and his mother, award-winning designer, Lottie Valles opened a modest shop called Interior Illusions.

In 2003, Mike made the initiative to relocate to Southern California where he applied himself and his education to open his own business in a small space, on Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood. Now today Michael Valles has three, by comparison, sizeable locations which have been regarded by many as sexy, sophisticated, glamorous environments that cater to everyone from homeowners, businesses to world renowned celebrities.

An unforgettable experience, his showrooms are filled with rich textiles, exotic surfaces, and unique designs of modern collections. Inspiration is borrowed from influences wrought from international shores, art, and cultures - his eye for seductive luxury and classic sophistication weaves throughout all that is Interior Illusions. Born into a family of entrepreneurs from the design, medical and real estate industries, his creative expression and savvy business sense makes for a recipe for success. It's not hard to see why this humble young man represents the framework of this successful interior design and furniture showroom.
