Founded in 1998 by CEO and Executive Creative Director Michael Valles, the Interior Illusions Design Studio is the creative heartbeat of our brand. What began as a single showroom has evolved into a full-service design destination, known for crafting interiors that are bold, sophisticated, and unapologetically personal.
Michael’s design vision is rooted in a passion for transforming spaces into experiences. His approach blends architectural discipline with an intuitive sense of style, resulting in interiors that balance luxury, function, and individuality. Under his leadership, our design studio has become a trusted partner for discerning clients.

How It Works
Design Consultation
Every great project starts with a conversation. We begin by learning about your style, lifestyle, and how you want to experience your space. After you request a consultation, we’ll connect you with one of our expert designers for an in-depth discussion about your vision, priorities, and goals. This collaborative discovery phase allows us to explore creative possibilities that are tailored just for you.
Concept Development
Once we understand your needs and the scope of your project, we’ll establish the creative direction. We’ll craft a design brief outlining the key elements that will guide the project, presenting mood boards, preliminary layouts, and color palettes to set the tone. This is where your vision starts to take shape.
Design Refinement
With your feedback, we’ll refine every detail. Layering in textures, finishes, and furnishings to create a cohesive, balanced design. Our process ensures that each element feels intentional, from the flow of the space to the smallest styling accent, resulting in a look that feels both elevated and livable.
Presentation
We’ll present your fully realized design proposal, which may include AutoCAD floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings, curated product selections, and finish samples. Together, we’ll review and finalize the design so you know exactly what to expect before moving into the next phase.
Project Management
From this point forward, we handle the details so you can enjoy the process. Our project management team oversees ordering, scheduling, and delivery, coordinating every aspect to ensure the design is executed exactly as planned.
Installation
Working alongside your architect, contractor, or build team, we’ll oversee the placement and installation of every piece. From the first item unboxed to the final accessory styled, our goal is to deliver a finished space that’s ready to be lived in and loved.
